techniques for turning vintage spoons and forks into earrings, pendants,
or bracelets. A wonderful, affordable way to make sustainable jewelry,
practicing found object design! This workshop will cover cutting,
bending, forming, texturing, drilling, and polishing. Metalsmithing
instructor Beth Liggitt will guide you step-by-step through the design
and creation of your one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. This fun jewelry
making workshop is perfect for any skill level - no experience necessary!
Choose from a variety of vintage flatware, or bring your own (must be
silverplate - no stainless steel) to create the piece of your choice -
earrings, pendants or bracelets. Experiment with adding beads and
different findings if desired.
All tools will be supplied. Just bring your imagination!
