About this Event
Join us for a FREE, DIY Upcycled Candle Workshop at the Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse!
This workshop will teach you how to hand-pour and create your own upcycled candles with household objects and reused materials. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ceramic mug to upcycle and use as their candle jar! However Crestive Reuse will be able to supply reused jars if you don't have one you'd like to bring.
Creative Reuse is a supportive space, open to folks with any level of artistic ability. Our goal is to foster expression and creative community, not perfection. Just bring an open mind– we’ll cover the rest.
This workshop is the second of our Guest Teaching Artist workshop series where we'll bring in a different local artist to host a workshop on the second sunday of each month. This months' Guest TA is Kai (she/her). Kai is a mixed media artist based in Pittsburgh with a vested interest in the digital arts and hands-on crafting!
