Why you'll love this workshop
This crafting class aims to inspire creativity and environmental awareness by teaching children the value of sustainability through crafting.
- A Focus on Sustainable Fashion - Crafting often involves creating new items from scratch, but in this club, we will transform old, discarded clothing and materials into fashionable, stylish, and fun items. Activities in this class will encourage children to think about eco-friendly practices while exploring their creativity, addressing the cost of living crisis to encourage families to think about reusing to save money and promoting circular fashion to reinvent old things to create new loved pieces.
- Hands-On Learning - Children will not only craft but also learn about the lifecycle of clothing, the impact of waste, and creative ways to upcycle everyday items. Children will be encouraged to explore their artistic abilities through hands-on projects and develop their motor skills.
- Interactive Parent/Carer-Child Collaboration - Parents/Carers will work alongside their children, assisting with projects while learning together about sustainability.
