Everyone has that one bottle of whisky that they will never forget and can never get again.
So flavoursome it sticks in your memory, and nothing quite lives up to it.
That is the joy and pain of the single cask whisky. For as long as the bottle lasts, you're sat happy up in the flavour clouds until your last nip, when you come crashing down to earth, realising you'll never get that dram again.
As part of our Independent Spirits Festival, we are really excited to have Alistair Walker in the shop with drams from his Infrequent Flyers range.
Alistair has a knack for finding the most beautifully flavoured casks from the rarest of places, and being rarely available, they are highly sought after. Hence the name Infrequent Flyers.
