We need your help!UOW Cycling Club are seeking extra hands on deck (experienced or not!) to fix up bikes as part of our Give A Bike program.
⏰When : Sunday at 8am - 11pm (check the event calendar)
📍Where : Corner of Smart Lane & Sciences Lane, UOW
🫵 Who: You! Anyone who can pickup a tool!
This workshop will be held at our bike workshop adjacent to Jugglers Lawn (refer to map). This container has been kindly provided and painted by our friends at UOW Facilities Management. You can also find our location searching 'UOW Cycling Club' on Google Maps.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided on the day. In the event of wet weather the workshop will be cancelled.
'Give a Bike Wollongong' is a co-op program focused on providing bikes to those who need them most in the Wollongong community. We are collecting unwanted bikes, either through donations or from the street, and are repairing them. 'Give a Bike Wollongong' is committed to protecting our environment by reusing, repairing and recycling bikes.
