Join us at Secret Location, The Garden HomeBase (SEE LOCATION & TICKET DETAILS BELOW BEFORE PURCHASE), for a relaxing and rejuvenating evening of crafts, conversation, games, and meditation!
Un-WINE-d with a glass? from the hustle and bustle of city life and tap into your inner Pocket of Peace! This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to leave your adult woes at the door, return to your most simplistic childood joys, enjoy your creativity, and embrace art as a decompressing mindfulness practice.
Don't know what to craft? Join our Informal Workshop! We'll meet for mini-meditation resets to keep us grounded, intentional, and clarifying our unique Pockets of Peace through connection to breath and journaling opportunities.✨
?Informal Workshop: ? Sewing 101, Hand-sewing Basics w/ Roux!
If you were at our last Sewing 101 event then you already know how benefecial learning just 1 or 2 basic stitches can be. Newcomers: experience the world of opportunities that open up from small mending projects to larger scale creative projects with this simple skill added to your crafter's tool belt!

Not sure what to make?
No worries! We will be holding an informal workshop (Handsewing Basics) as well as pairing Crafty QTs with a more experienced peer based off their interests for those in need of a little guidance.
?What to Bring:?
Anything you need to work on your project which may include but not be limited to:
-Fabric
-Yarn & Needles
-Drawing materials
-Painting materials (some provided)

-Wine & light snacks will be provided.
*Note: You're encouraged to bring a piece of clothing to mend or old fabric (like that one lonely sock at the bottom of your drawer) for guided up-cycling so you can put your new hand-sewing skills to work!

*No one turned away for lack of funds.
**To Pay via Alternative Methods, send full ticket amount including any add-ons with Subject: "Crafty" to [email protected] on Zelle or Venmo (see picture below). When completed, send proof of transaction to [email protected] or @thegarden_ny for your email code which can be used to receive an eventbrite ticket. You will not receive our automated email sharing the secret location on the day of the event nor will you be refunded if you fail to reach out.

The Garden HomeBase is a Private, 4/20 and Cat-Friendly, Residence! Please keep this in mind while in the space.
COVID PRECAUTION: This event is located in a private residence. To ensure the safety of our neighbors, you *must* present a recent negative COVID test. A limited number of COVID tests are available so, please reach out in advance if you need special accomodations. $2 Rapid tests will be provided at the door otherwise. You will not be granted entry or refunded should you fail to provide proof of a negative COVID test.
