Friday 19.12 • 18:30–20:00Unwrapping Your Voice
As part of Ayäm Xmas calendar, this session is dedicated to your voice.
You’re invited to explore the most precious tool of creation and expression you carry through your entire life.
We begin with a sonic, embodied journey through your vocal range, supported by gentle movement. I will offer a framework for improvisation, inviting you to open as much as you wish within a safe and inspiring space. We’ll explore the beautiful acoustics of Ayäm — the staircase acting as a resonant chamber as well as the Sun Shala holding a warm, womb-like atmosphere for sound and silence.
From there, we will naturally transition into a collective singing circle where I will share songs and poetry, while welcoming the group’s participative flow. You’re free to contribute with your voice, or simply receive and listen — both expressions enrich the dance between sound and silence.
We close by lying down in a relaxing sound meditation for integration.
I trust sound will guide us toward a place of freedom and connection.
About Pauline
Pauline is a yoga facilitator and dancer drawn to practices that deepen her love of movement, sound, truth, and freedom. Her path includes Indian classical dance (Bharata Natyam), Ashtanga yoga, Argentine tango, frame drumming, and vocal exploration. Inspired by ancient rituals, she founded Mantra & Mudra, a practice that unites timeless Sanskrit chants with self-inquiry.
Her “heart project” with the Stockholm Cosmic Choir is to merge voices in a collective prayer for peace and remembrance.
Certified as a Sound Therapy Facilitator in 2024 through Art of Union Sweden, Pauline seeks to move beyond concepts and stories, inviting free expression, improvisation, and an open curiosity for the many forms that help us play, pray, connect, and expand.
