What is a sound bath?

  • A Sound Bath is an immersive, full-body listening experience that can help you reach a meditative, deeply relaxed state with very little effort.
  • Contrary to the name, there is no water involved in a sound bath! It is called a sound bath as attendees are immersed or surrounded in sound, in a similar way to how you might be surrounded by water during a bath.

What do you do during a sound bath?

  • During the sound bath, you’ll be invited to lay or sit down on a yoga mat, get comfy, and listen to the sounds played. That’s all you’ll need to do!

What will the experience be like?

  • Often recognised for their therapeutic benefits, a sound bath might make you feel extremely relaxed, calm, creative, or you might even fall asleep.
  • Everyone has their own individual experience - there is no right or wrong!

What are the benefits of sound baths?

  • Help you to reach a state of deep relaxation by calming your mind and body
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Enhance your focus, attention, and mental clarity
  • Decrease tension and fatigue
  • Enable you to be present in the moment
  • Improve your mood and help you release negative emotions
  • Improve your sleep

What to bring/wear:

As being comfortable is really important during a sound bath, we recommend to bring/wear the following (see below). However, none of these are essential - we do have yoga mats, pillows, blankets, and eye masks available to use.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable, warm clothes and socks - when you get into a state of deep relaxation, your heart rate will drop and your body temperature will reduce, so warm clothes will be a good choice! You can even wear your pyjamas for maximum comfort!
  • Extra blanket (to keep warm or support your body when led down)
  • Extra pillow/cushion (to support your head/back of your knees when led down)

Medical conditions:

Sound baths are not recommended if the following applies to you:

  • First trimester of pregnancy
  • Heart conditions (pacemaker)
  • Have seizures
  • You are particularly sensitive to sounds

Please check before booking if you have any concerns about your health.
