Dear Hamtramck community members:You’re invited to the unveiling ceremony of Greg Kowalski Street (Wyandotte), to take place at the Hamtramck Historical Museum (9525 Jos. Campau) on Sunday January 18, 2026 at 2 p.m. City Council voted to honor Greg Kowalski’s contributions to the City of Hamtramck with this honorary street renaming in December 2025.
Due to the chilly weather this time of year, the City invites community members to celebrate the sign’s installation on Wyandotte at this small celebration indoors, where Greg/the Museum will be presented with a duplicate sign to be donated to the Museum.
