If your child loves to make and eat culinary treats, this camp is for them! Join us on a culinary adventure as we let our cooking imaginations run wild during Unusual Food from Unusual Places Cooking Camp. We’ll work together to recreate favorite literary or pop culture cuisines. We’ll have tea parties in Wonderland, decide what exactly goes on a “Krabby Patty”, mix our own Butterbeer and more while using unconventional methods like cooking over a campfire and baking in microwaves. Campers will also create a cookbook to take home with them so families can cook and taste the foods together!
Our full-day camps include time in the Museum, a mid-week field trip, snacks, group projects and plenty to write home about.
CDM will continue to Play It Safe by:
- requiring masks for all visitors, staff and volunteers ages 5 and up
- conducting a no-contact health screen and temperature check on a daily basis
- limiting camp capacity
