About this Event
On September 29, Michelle “Arike” Broadnax, a lead consultant of one of our signature projects, Keeping Black Survivors Alive, and a beloved member of our MAWOCN community, was critically injured while coming to the aid of a close friend in a domestic dispute. Arike Michelle was released from the hospital after 7 weeks and needs financial support to ease the long recovery ahead.
We are calling upon our community to join us as we rally to ensure Arike Michelle has the support to heal from this tragedy. We extend a heartfelt invitation to you for our upcoming fundraising event, Until We Dance Again.
Join us Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 5 pm - 9:30 pm for a compilation of dancing, singing, spoken word, and a presentation to uplift the experience of gun violence survivor, Michelle (Shelly/Arike) Broadnax and bring increased awareness about mental health, and gun violence, domestic violence, and systemic harm in Massachusetts.
