The Burleigh Art Hub is excited to present Untethered, our first group show curated by Michael Podles (previously of Graphis Gallery Woollahra, Sydney).
The exhibition, featuring the works of 18 local Gold Coast artists, gathers artists from all walks of life, age groups, and life experiences. Their works communicate a range of ideas and issues captured through a variety of subject matter while being showcased across a variety of mediums and scales.
Featured in the exhibition will be a selection of both 2D and 3D approaches with artists celebrating creative freedom, independent approach and courage. Courage to pursue the process and to express the world as they see it, free from stylistic constraints. As part of the human spirit, we search for meaning through discovery, invention, expression and change. Through this diverse showcase, we hope to remind audiences of the never-ending search for meaning in our lives and that each of us has something valuable to say and share.
