Fancy heading North and exploring the beauty of the Upper / Middle River Wye? On this trip we'll start our journey at the most northerly SUP point, Glasbury. This tour takes in one of finest and most untamed stretches of the River Wye with a stunning backdrop of the Black Mountains and some fun riffle rapids to test your SUP skills on.We'll then paddle down to our end point Whitney-on-Wye, passing through the stunning architecture of the Whitney Toll Bridge and finishing at the riverside pub The Boat where we can celebrate our paddle success with a glass of something cold and refreshing!
This is a 17 km paddle, suitable for those with good river paddling experience. You must be able to self rescue, and confidently steer your board in quick moving water.
You will
Explore the upper / middle section and the most northerly section of the river Wye on this guided tour.
Enjoy a post paddle bevvy at the lovely Boat Inn at Whiteny on Wye.
Receive a safety briefing along with your board, paddle, buoyancy aid and helmet.
Wetsuit can be hired on booking. £10.00pp.
