You are invited to "Untamable-Indigenous" Fall/Winter 2022 sustainable fashion show and event at Estancia del Norte San Antonio on Saturday November 12th, 2022. Our mission for this event is to donate a portion of the proceeds to local nonprofits right here in our community that actively work towards raising awareness for the greater good.

As fast fashion continues to take a toll on the environment, animals and basic human rights, we are proud to announce the newest activation of the original Untamable-The Sustainable Fashion Show and Event called Indigenous: The Individual Warrior Within.

Vintage Curator, Founder of Untamable, Sustainable Stylist and Minx and Onyx’s Amanda Alarcon-Hunter will present a portion of her Fall/Winter, sustainable collection on November 12th, 2022 alongside Sustainable Stylist and Co-Creative Director, Becky Witte-Marsh with the launch of their new event and production company AB Event Designers

VIP ADMISSION TICKETS INCLUDE:

-A pre show and exclusive trunk show on November 3rd, 6-9pm (invite with additional details will be emailed to you once ticket is purchased)

-Front row seating in a designated area for VIP's at the fashion show and event

-A glamorous evening of eco-conscious fashion to kick off Native American Heritage month

-An immersive experience to include a chance to bid on a custom leather coat hand painted and signed by International artist John Jenkins

-Heavy appetizers and cocktails from the Texas Bar, along with the specialty cocktail of the night "Untamable"

-Your name will be entered into a drawing to get a full styling experience for the night of Untamable-Indigenous. To include styling, makeup and hair for the night of the event by sustainable stylists Amanda Alarcon-Hunter and Becky Witte-Marsh

-A portion of all ticket sales will be to benefit American Indians In Texas At the Spanish Colonial Missions and Ferrari Kid an organization that supports children with cancer

Our annual fashion show and event is actively trying to create solutions. We seek to promote, impede, direct, or intervene in social, political, economic, or environmental reform with the desire to make changes in society toward a perceived greater good. We have decided to have this event in order to bring awareness to ethical and sustainable buying choices and help prohibit practices such as forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, discrimination and unsafe working conditions. It is more than fitting that we see a paradigm shift in the way we look at sustainability as a human rights issue.

With Alarcon-Hunter herself, predominantly Native American, this is a show that most resonates with her. “This is a “preservation for the reservation”, meaning that is what we do. We preserve, we refine, we repair, we rework and we redesign everyday”, states Alarcon Hunter. The Fall/Winter Sustainable Clothing Collection is a true inspiration of highly curated leather, suedes, textures and rare fabrics. One will see unique vintage finds, vintage silks, custom and rare embroidery finds, rare beads and stones and eclectic designs in order to celebrate the Indigenous cultures, contributions and resilience.

Alarcon-Hunter and Witte-Marsh, come with a combined experience of over 50 years in the fashion show and event industry. These two innovators and activators who have an eye for detail, gather the most eclectic ideas and unexpected places to create immersive creations.
