Hey you, yes you ? Are your legs yearning the relaxing feeling of a seaside stroll? ?Are your eyes in need of Sydney sightseeing? Are your ears in need of the subtle roar of ocean waves??? Well, look no further. To kick off the year UNSW ADSOC and WanderSoc is holding a joint beautiful beachside walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi. Start the new uni year right and join us on this beginner-friendly walk along some of Sydney’s most iconic coastline. The day will start at Coogee beach with everyone meeting at 10:45 AM to begin the walk at 11AM. There will be plenty of stops for pictures ?and snacks as well as cafes and restaurants along the route for those who feel a bit more than peckish??.
This is a great event to meet new people before the term even starts. Returning ADSOC members and brand new ones non ADSOC members are all encouraged to come. The walk is 6km long mostly along a boardwalk with some steepish stairs at certain points and will take about 2 hours to complete?. Afterwards, we plan on chilling at the beach and getting food?.
If you’re a first-year this is a great way to start your uni journey. Getting to Coogee and from Bondi back home are both relatively easy journeys with Public transport traveling to both locations with a bus from central station directly to Coogee beach taking only 30 minutes?.
