Unsung Creatives Showcase

Join us on Saturday, April 19th at Mothership Studios for the Unsung Creatives Showcase to celebrate creative dreams coming to life! Presented by Express Yourself! Arts, this special evening highlights the work of seven emerging creatives who, until now, had never shared their creative work publicly. Over the past eight weeks, they’ve poured their hearts into completing an original creative project, while overcoming self-doubt and navigating the messy terrain of the creative process. Now, they’re ready to share their creative dream with the wonderful San Marcos community!

This inspiring evening will feature a gallery exhibition, live performances, and an artist panel discussion where participants will discuss their art, creative processes, and what it means to finally bring their work into the world. The night will conclude with a reception and interactive community arts activity, where YOU can explore your own creative dreams—all while enjoying refreshments and soaking in the creative community.

This event is produced by Express Yourself! Arts. Express Yourself! Arts is run by Expressive Arts Facilitator, Ellen Rebecca Geis, and offers Expressive Arts classes to support the creativity and mental health of the San Marcos community. The mission of Express Yourself! Arts is to reawaken creativity as a force of healing and inspiration in people's lives.
