For over four decades, Desirée has delved deep into the realms of self-reflection and personal growth. Drawing from her wealth of experience, she teaches us how to embrace Yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a profound tool for understanding ourselves – body, mind and spirit. Desirée shows us that it’s never too late to deepen our understanding of our Self in order to tap into our own inner strength and wisdom. In this weekend immersion you’ll gain invaluable insights and practical tools to help you stay motivated and resilient in the face of life’s everyday challenges. So let’s join together and embark on this journey of growth and transformation, because together, we truly are unstoppable.
This will be Desirée’s 24th visit to From the Heart Yoga, and we are so grateful for her continuous stream of offerings. The knowledge you gain in this workshop will turn to strength and wisdom when you continue to apply what you learn each time you practice. No two classes with Desirée are ever the same, she is constantly growing and evolving as a student and teacher of yoga. If you have attended a previous workshop we encourage you to book again for deeper insights into your own practice and your changing body.

Important: The material presented in each of these sessions is cumulative and the entire weekend is crafted for every body to learn and grow, no matter your age or stage. It is recommended that you attend all sessions for your optimal understanding and growth. In the event the full weekend does not sell out, we will open single sessions for booking on October 1.
Desirée holds fast to the teaching that Love is Stronger Than Fear. Having navigated personal tragedy, she has relied on the study and practice of Yoga to help her move forward in life with inner strength and courage. Known also for her warmth, authenticity and playful sense of humor, Desiree is a master at delivering the complexity of yoga in a down-to-earth, easily understandable way. She currently resides in San Miguel de Allende Mexico with her husband, Andrew Rivin. This will be her 24th year visiting our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
