Fresh new look but still the same old boring music, we are bringing you a very special act this month! EYA label boss Jos and CRL from Moderno will join us at Never Normal for a groovy voyage through the crates! With a formidable style, Jos is fast emerging as a solid contender in London’s vibrant underground music scene, having spent most of his formative years working behind the counter of the city’s best record shops: Vinyl Pimp, Kristina Records and now All My Friends. An avid vinyl collector and label boss of the ever-rising EYA Records - Lonewolf, Jos bears an ability to transcend dancefloors into a tantalising twist of Techno, Electro, Acid and the deepest shades of House and Disco.
CRL boasts a record-collecting journey spanning over a decade, a steady journey he continues to develop operating at Hackney Wick's records shop All My Friends. Lorenzo’s musical style is as diverse as his influences. While holding a deep love for electro, his music collection spans across time and genres, from early Detroit to New Beat, Italo Disco, and Synth-Pop, bridging the past and present.
Jos and CRL together with Lumee and Damiano are co-founders of the Moderno collective. The collective, born in London, is curating in-store sessions at All My Friends and has already hosted various artists well known in the scene.
