The first concert of the UNR Symphony will feature the beautiful Symphony #8 by Antonin Dvorak. We open with a piece for brass by L.J. Kauffmann. Then DMA Candidate, Site Xiong will conduct the humorous Academic Festival by Johannes Brahms. Then DMA Candidate, John Ondich-Batson takes the healm to lead the 1st string symphony by a young Felix Mendelssohn. The concert will begin at 7:30pm with a pre-concert lecture given by Site Xiong in room CFA 110 at 6:30pm. THE CONCERT IS FREE, so please come and enjoy an evening of beautiful music.
