Unplug at Gather 22

Take a break from scrolling, screens, and endless notifications to be with yourself and others this summer in Indy.
No agenda. No pressure. No forced interaction. Just an opportunity to turn off in a world that’s always on.
Structure:
Unplug gatherings are accessible, inviting spaces that operate in a come-and-go-as-you-please format. Read, write, and connect with others or simply sit in reflection. We will take it back to the days before the smart phone, free of pervasive tech, fostering connection with ourselves and others in a calm, relaxed environment.
With Unplug, there is no performance. No expectation other than being near others and doing whatever is needed. Come read, write, think, rest, stretch, or be.
What you can expect:
- A completely tech-free gathering (we'll hold on to your phones!)
- No agenda, no expectations - come-and-go as you please
- Space to spread out for reading, writing, chatting, playing cards, drawing, or simply being

- Many opportunties to unplug this summer, including weekday evenings at Gather 22 and weekend mornings in Spades Park

For Gather 22 gatherings:

-Unplug with us at Gather22 for a chance to spend a few hours tech-free while enjoying one of Indy’s best restaurants and the summertime outdoor spaces.

-Many outdoor seating options including hammocks, green space, tables, and more

-Food and beverage for purchase (and highly encouraged, because yum!)

For Spades Park gatherings:

-Go tech free under the trees! We'll gather Sunday mornings from 8:00am-12:00pm in Spades Park on the Near East Side.

- Cold drinks provided
- Nearby Amelia's Bakery for coffee, baked goods, and bathrooms
