Seescape is thrilled to announce a new project running throughout 2024 and 2025, bringing essential information and training sessions to communities across Fife. Thanks to generous funding from Fife Carers Community Chest, we will deliver a programme of free sessions for those caring for someone with visual impairment. The sessions will provide valuable insights into:
👉 Different eye conditions
👉 How visual impairment affects daily life and mobility
👉 Practical guidance on gadgets, assistive technology, and support from Seescape and our partner organisations
👉 Guide assist training to equip you with the skills to guide visually impaired adults safely, confidently, and empathetically
Sessions will be held in various locations across Fife:
📍 Kirkcaldy - 27th February 2025
📍 Glenrothes - 13th March 2025
Morning and afternoon sessions will be available on each date. If you have caring responsibility for someone with visual impairment and would like to attend, please contact us at [email protected] or call 01592 644 979 to secure your place.
Please note that these sessions are only available for unpaid carers (not paid care workers).
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, and make a positive difference in the lives of visually impaired individuals and their carers. Share this post and help spread the word!
