Often encountered as a visual spectacle, Balinese mask dance is rich in beauty, movement, and music. Yet rarely do we have the opportunity to enter its inner worldāto sit in close presence with the spirit of the mask itself.
This intimate gathering opens a sacred space for conversation and shared experience, bringing together the mask, the dancer who embodies it, and the carver who gives it life. Through stories, history, legend, and lived reality, we explore what truly shapes the sacred masks of Bali today.
