Unlocking the Secrets of Big Bend

Date: Saturday, September 25 from 11 AM - Noon

The Trans-Pecos area of far west Texas is archeologically rich but scientifically poorly known.

In this workshop, get to know what drives this mystical area of Texas and what secrets are yet to be unlocked. The staff archaeologist and the Program Coordinator of the Center for Big Bend Studies will discuss the rich cultural history of the Big Bend, as well as how the Center supports its needs through research, publication and public outreach.
