One of the single most difficult challenges that employers face on a day-to-day basis is the conundrum of managing employees who have medical issues that trigger the protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and service members who need to use leave under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
From managing leave requests, workplace accommodations, or the inevitable “what can we do about the employee who won’t come back to work” issue, this session will provide practical advice on managing these difficult issues.
