A healing workshop with Dr. Hakim Mohandas Amani Williams
About this Event

Join us for a healing workshop geared towards unlocking new parts of yourself, led by scholar, professor, and Gettysburg College Director of Peace and Justice Studies Dr. Hakim Mohandas Amani Williams. In an age marked by overlapping ecological, political, and social catastrophes, we need more than one revolutionary path forward. Dr. Williams believes that each of us has unique “fingerprinted” gifts meant for this moment. To unlock them—across body, mind, spirit, and intellect—is to move toward wholeness, realignment, and the ability to truly bloom.
About the teacher

This workshop is geared toward participants that are 18 years and older. It will involve a restorative circle, guided reflection, a presentation on micro-revolutions and justice-grounded leadership, and some movement designed to encourage openness and ease. Participants should come in comfortable clothing suitable for light movement, along with a blanket or pillow and an object of sentimental value. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the workshop will begin promptly at noon.

Come prepared to reflect, repair, and re-envision. The love revolution is at hand!
