About the Speaker:
Alstair Bharata is Asia Resilience Consulting Leader, bringing over 16 years of expertise in Risk Consulting and M&A. Notable achievements in his career include driving the transformation of the Risk Management functions at major state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia, as well as within the country’s largest Financial Services Authority.
Marisa Chaichumnan is Director of Thailand Business Continuity Management at Western Digital, where she leads and manages crisis and disaster recovery planning. With over 10 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, she holds certifications as a Business Continuity Professional/Practitioner (CBCI) and ISO22301 Business Continuity Management Lead Auditor, following her previous role as an Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Industrial Hygiene Specialist. She previously worked in Occupational Health and Safety and holds degrees from Mahidol University. Marisa has led responses to major incidents including floods, earthquakes, and the pandemic.
Philip Bernard is Senior Vice President (SVP) of HDD Assembly & Backend Operations at Western Digital. Philip is responsible for the development of a world-class manufacturing operations in Asia and significant Engineering involvement in Product Development and Sustaining Engineering. Philip’s global team includes 16,000 employees with HDD factories located in Thailand and Engineering units in the U.S., Japan, Bangalore and Scotland.
Ravee Supanimitwisetkul is Director of Operations Division, Disaster Relief Operations Center. With extensive international training in disaster management and emergency response, Ravee has participated in specialized programs across Asia and the United States, including International Urban Search and Rescue with SCDA Singapore, flood risk and stormwater management with JICA Japan and DID Malaysia, and disaster response and recovery with MERCY Malaysia. He has also trained in technical rescue operations such as confined space, rope, and heavy lifting techniques with the Washington National Guard and Iwakuni Fire Department, and received terrorism incident response training from the Royal Thai Police and Tokyo Fire Department.
