We invite you to an evening of European synth wave - all the way from Belgium, cult 80s synth act Linear Movement, with support from resident UK artist The Lunacy Of Flowers and Poland's Chaos International.Linear Movement were one of the many quality purveyors of early continental European synthwave. The Belgian act, led by the multi-purposed Peter Bonne (A Split-Second, Twilight Ritual, Autumn) only issued a cassette release in the early eighties, titled Pulse Music, but have been rediscovered for the new century, fittingly for a world-wide resurgence in synthwave. The catalyst was their appearance on the 2006 compilation The Lost Tapes, after which Linear Movement re-released their much sought-after material as 2009's On The Screen, followed by 2016's The Linear Way with a new single out this year. The Belgians have been popping up on several compilations since, a credit to their timeless music ripe for a second run.

This event is the second in a new series for all things wave and post-punk in Tallinn, called Unknown Pleasures. The Lunacy Of Flowers, the prolific Londoner residing in Estonia, who released his Dead Man's Letters Mixtape last year, and is working on a follow-up, will play a support set. The versatile one man act will perform a more synth-oriented set, with Unknown Pleasures co-organiser and Radio 2 host Sander Varusk filling in on decks with rare synth and wave.

And the very first act is a special guest from Poland - the minimal electronic act Chaos International, another one-man synth army of Vincenzo Wieczerzyński, who debuted only last year, after co-producing a single by Lebanon Hanover. Having toured the world, Chaos International will join our cold synth night of European sensibilities.
