Charles Konsitzke is Associate Director of the UW-Madison Biotechnology Center and the Team Lead for the UW Missing-In-Action Recovery and Identification Project. The project consists of an interdisciplinary team of academic experts and student volunteers in the fields of history, archaeology, forensic anthropology, and biology, collaborating to make these missions possible and to make them a success. His team is currently investigating several dozen Wisconsin and non-Wisconsin cases. While investigating cases, the team is developing new techniques and technologies to enhance the recovery mission process. The presentation enlightens us about the Project, how it started, and how it is evolving nationally and internationally. Jeanne Bootz and Linda Kassera are co-sponsors of this program.
