University of Pretoria Camerata: Hope

The Tuks Camerata, as the choir is popularly known, is regularly invited to choral symposia, conferences and competitions all over the world and have a reputation for being one of the finest ensembles in South Africa. "Hope" features music from some of the greats, including Bruckner and Rheinberger, complimented with contemporary selections by Gyongyosi, Forrest, Gibbs, Hagenberg, Powell and many more. The choir is honoured to host guest composer and conductor Jake Runestad (USA) who will conduct the choir in some of his own works. The programme also has wonderful traditional South African works and seeing the Camerata sing and dance is truly a spectacle not to be missed.
