The UNO Faculty Jazz Combo is comprised of the finest musicians Nebraska has to offer. Performing original compositions and scintillating arrangements that range from sublime to absurd, the ensemble has performed to much critical acclaim throughout the Midwest. Members of the group perform locally with organizations including professional big bands, rock groups, the Omaha Symphony and fusion ensembles. Joining this group at the Storm Cellar will be special guests Toms Rudzinskis (saxophone) and Dominykas Vysniauskas (trumpet) from the Jazeps Vitols Latvian Music Academy located in Riga, Latvia.
