The University Club of Claremont is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with a gala dinner featuring live music, an opportunity drawing and a cash bar.
The club was founded in Claremont in 1924 under the leadership of Pomona College faculty. Today, the club is an association of university and college graduates, professionals and community members seeking to:
- Stir intellectual curiosity and create a spirit of inquiry
- Develop friendships
- Support local high school students with high school scholarships
College graduation is not a requirement for membership.
The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month (except August) for a delicious lunch and a stimulating talk.
