About this Event
For this year’s Christmas concert, the University Choir are wrapping up a musical treat for you. The programme is packed with traditional carols, lesser-known pieces, new versions of familiar carols and light-hearted Christmas music. There’s also the opportunity for some audience participation!
Included in the programme are the beautiful and much-loved 'Nativity Carol' by John Rutter and the less familiar 'Carolling Nowell' by Richard Roddis – a former conductor of the University Choir.
The Choir will be accompanied by a small ensemble of LSU Classical members.
The University Choir is made up of students, staff, alumni and members of the local community. They rehearse on Monday evenings during term time and welcome new members.

Accessibility
Cope Auditorium has step free access and there is an accessible toilet in the main foyer. The auditorium has wheelchair user spaces in the flat floor seating area and is fitted with an induction (hearing) loop. Wheelchair users may bring a carer with them at no extra cost – please select a wheelchair ticket and a wheelchair carer ticket. A wheelchair carer ticket will not be valid on its own.

Parking
Visitors are required to register their vehicle and pay to park on campus, including outside Cope Auditorium. There is a flat evening rate of £1 after 6pm.
