The UM Business Matching Day 2025, held in conjunction with the UM Research, Innovation, and Industry Summit (UMRIIS) 2025 on 22–23 October 2025, is a strategic platform designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Organized by the UM Centre of Innovation and Enterprise (UMCIE), the event focuses on connecting Universiti Malaya’s ready-to-commercialize inventions with industry players, startups, and investors.

With the theme “Health & MedTech: Overcoming Barriers in Health Innovation”, the Business Matching Day will highlight cutting-edge innovations in medical technology and healthcare solutions. It provides opportunities for industry stakeholders to explore collaboration, licensing, and commercialization prospects while engaging directly with UM researchers to exchange insights, address industry challenges, and build impactful partnerships.
