About this Event
Join us on September 30 at 5 PM at the Broward County Library's African American Research Library and Cultural Center for an enriching Unity360 Community Dialogue on religious diversity. This event is inspired by the powerful "Symbols of Spirit: African Masks" exhibit, which showcases the spiritual richness and diversity of African cultures.
Support for this event has been provided by the following Funds at the Community Foundation of Broward: The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation Broward Community Fund.
Engage with a diverse panel of religious leaders as they discuss the significance of symbols, rituals, and practices in their respective faiths, including Voodoo, Christianity, Bahá'í Faith, and more. Gain insights into how these elements shape spiritual experiences and community life. Participate in a guided tour of the exhibit, offering a deeper understanding of the spiritual meanings behind the masks and their relevance to various religious traditions.
The evening will culminate in an open dialogue where you can ask questions, share your own experiences, and contribute to a collective action plan aimed at promoting interfaith understanding and cooperation in our community. This is a unique opportunity to explore the spiritual dimensions of different cultures, connect with others, and be part of a community striving for unity and mutual respect. Don’t miss this chance to be part of an impactful and enlightening conversation.
