This is a special event - with the intention of bringing the community together in unity, in celebration of Black History Month and LOVE in all forms - self-love, relationships, family, friends, and universal love.

🎶 The admission donations will be going to our musician. Let’s show them appreciation for taking time out of their day to play for us!
🎟️ Door prize ticket money will be donated to VANSDA - an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for African Nova Scotians and other citizens in the Annapolis Valley by creating Partnerships in Employment, Training, and Economic Development. Their focus is on increasing employment opportunities for marginalized and other community members.
In addition to our holistic healing vendors, I want to open the floor to African Nova Scotian vendors and give them an opportunity to sell their products/services at our event, as well as a safe space to tell their story and educate the community about their culture.
