On February 22, 2025, we will be hosting a Bridgerton Inspired Charity Ball at the

prestigious Eagle’s Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia. The King of Stings, Ken Ford will serenade attendees

dressed in their finest formal wear for this momentous occasion that will raise funds to relocate and repurpose the

Unity Grove Rosenwald School, the last remaining two-room schoolhouse in Henry County, Georgia.

Built in 1931, this historic schoolhouse stands as a powerful testament to the resilience and determination of

African Americans during the era of segregation. For over two decades, it served as a haven for Black children to

learn and grow. Today, this cherished piece of history calls on us to honor its legacy and ensure its story is never

forgotten.

Our vision is bold and beautiful: to transform this schoolhouse into a vibrant Black History Museum and

Community Center—a place where our history is celebrated, our culture is uplifted, and our future is inspired. This

initiative is proudly led by the Henry County Arts & Cultural Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to

preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

But we can’t do it alone. To move and repurpose this historic structure, we need to raise over $1,000,000. This is

more than a restoration project; it’s an investment in our community’s pride, strength, and shared legacy. Your

support is essential in bringing this vision to life.
