UNITY DANCE is the latest evolution of Colorado's thriving and growing Ecstatic Dance community. In Colorado, we are blessed to have one of best communities in the country, perhaps the world. We want to do our part, be a part of, and offer our unique expression of Ecstatic Dance. We are reaching out to everyone in the community and beyond who seeks to express, connect, and share with others through music, dance, and art in community, friendship, one love, and UNITY!~Schedule~
7 PM - Doors Open
7:15 PM - Introduction and opening ceremony with Root Medicine Woman
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - The dance with DJ Simply Rex
9:30 PM - Closing ceremony and a special closing meditation with Simply Rex.
9:45 PM-10 PM- Social time and open group conversation.
~Meet Simply Rex~
Simply Rex is a producer, composer, musician, DJ, and spoken word artist. Rex has been a member of the bands Quantum Beings of the Miraculous and Nāga. He has played venues that include Your Mom's House, Ophelia's, The Oriental Theater, The Church, Milk Bar, Club Vinyl, and Lumonics Gallery among others going back iconic clubs like Rock Island and Club Onyx. He has been a part of festivals like Tribal Visions, Elsewhence, Shamanic Boom, Full Moon Festival, and Sol Fire Revolution (outside of San Diego).
With UNITY DANCE, Rex hopes to weave a tapestry of sounds and rhythms creating a journey for the dance floor. He infuses many styles of music both old and new that includes Psybient, World,Tribal, Ambient, Trip Hop, Trance, and more.
He seeks to bring people together through music, dance, and spoken word in one love and UNITY!
