About the National Juneteenth Museum

The National Juneteenth Museum is more than a museum — the 50,000-square-foot building will house the museum, a business incubator, food hall for local chefs and restaurateurs, a 250-seat theater and a black box flexible event space.

This transformative project will improve lives and economic opportunity by helping revitalize the Historic Southside neighborhood, which currently has the state’s lowest life expectancy and one of the highest infant mortality rates.

By attending our Uniting Voices event, you will be helping us get one step closer to realizing Dr. Opal Lee’s legacy of building a destination to foster conversations on the global significance of freedom and the celebration of Juneteenth worldwide.
