This event is an exciting, hands-on event designed for children ages 6 to 12.This one-day experience shines a spotlight on the importance of healthy, affordable, and stigma-free school lunches.
With the event taking place on a local PD Day at the Harrison Park Community Hall, families can make the most of the day with an opportunity that is both meaningful and fun.
What Kids Will Experience
Children will rotate through engaging, interactive stations led by volunteers, educators, and community voices, including nutritionists, teachers, athletes, and food security advocates.
Highlights include:
- Nutrition Basics + Hands-On Snack Making
- Empathy & Food Insecurity
- Creative Zone
- Scavenger Hunt
Each session will welcome up to 60 kids, ensuring plenty of support and guidance.
