United Way of Northwest Louisiana's Fill the Bus 2024 is here! Join us at Walmart located on E Bert Kouns Industrial Loop for our annual school supply drive, supporting students attending Caddo Parish Public Schools.
Fill the Bus, sponsored by Aetna and KSLA News 12, benefits elementary, middle, and high school students identified as ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and/or families struggling to make ends meet. This initiative seeks to lessen the strain on already strapped household budgets in Caddo Parish and provides students with the school supplies necessary for a successful school year.
You can get involved by visiting Walmart on the given dates and times to purchase and donate school supplies or become a volunteer to help encourage Walmart shoppers and inventory items. This volunteer opportunity is open to community volunteers and Caddo Parish Public School teachers. Volunteer teachers will have the opportunity to take the supplies they collected during their volunteer shift with them to go directly into their classrooms.
