In March the American Legion Post 83 Eugene, Oregon will be celebrating 50 years of being open at Santa Clara-Eugene. Brittney Green, Marine Corps Veteran and currently serving as the posts 2nd Vice Commander will be setting up shop in the post for what we are calling Marine Corps Recognition Day. Everyday of March we will be open for various activities and events. On Monday March 10th she will be hosting Marine recognition day. She plans to be down there meeting various folks from members to non-members and those who have interest in possibly being a member. Everyone who knows anything about Marines knows they are always being joked with and clowned on. We will be having individual trivia sheets to fill out (with crayons 🖍 of course) We also have ordered edible crayons (bubble gum) because God knows Marines love their crayons 😆 We hope that you will come down and say hello, Marine or not and ask questions about becoming a post member! Save the date for March 10th! Exactly 8 months shy of the Marine Corps birthday and this year we are doing it big, 250 years as Marines! Enjoy some refreshments and treats on us!
March is also Women's History Month, and who better to host this event than a female Marine herself?!
