Calling all TMC Platoon Members!!! This year for United in Service and in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the current Phoenix Parks Department Office in Highline Park we are helping to revitalize a historic area with deep roots and connection in the community. TMC-PHX has been working with the City of Phoenix for over 10 years helping to maintain and beautify parks all over Phoenix but this year is special. We are helping to prepare for a large celebration that will commemorate the donation and founding of Highline Park in the South Phoenix community that provides youth and families with the opportunity to recreate and play in the shadow of the beautiful South Mountain preserve. Scope of work will include………
Paint ramadas and grills
Paint bathrooms interior and exterior
Racket ball area painting
Playground wood chips
Planting around building
Celebration area beautification
Revitalize volleyball court
Revitalize basketball courts
Lunch will be tacos, bean, and rice! Brought to you by El Jefe Tacos (https://www.instagram.com/eljefetacos/), a veteran owned small business serving the greater Phoenix area providing delicious Mexican food at their Tempe and Phoenix locations.
