The United CommUnity Care Fayre brings a fusion of wholesome organisations, wholesome products and wholesome music together at Left Bank, one of the most wonderful spaces Leeds has to offer!! And its all for FREE!!!
So what is the United CommUnity Care Fayre all about!? As a whole, its here to help the community make more connections, bring it closer together, make it more resilient and stronger as a whole, but let's break it down some more.
A United CommUnity is a community united with a common goal in mind. It comprises of individuals and institutions all working together for the good of one another and the CommUnity as a whole.
The Care comes for those who need some care or want to provide care for others and also the Care we need to give to the CommUnity to help keep it alive and help it thrive. There is also an element of self care which is needed too, for yo help others you need to be in a fit state to do so too.
The Fayre is comprised of a selection of 3 types of stalls and organisations who will be there on the day. This 3 types will be for caring within the local community, another collection of stalla for local groups you can join and meet new friends, and the final type of stall will be selling products and food. Expect to find a range of activities and education.
Freakone will also be bringing an exhibition, showcasing some of his great works.
There will also be workshops and entertainment throughout the event, with Inner Fire Soundsystem will finish off the evening with some wonderful music for all to have a listen and dance, allowing us to come together and celebrate our connection with each other.
As this is an inclusive community event, entry is free for all.
To help cover costs, there will be opportunity for the community to donate towards the event, either using donation buckets through an online fundraising campaign which has also been launched to help in the run up. You can find out more about that here:
