About this Event
United Colours of Fashion (UCOF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing training opportunities and support for newcomers, immigrants, and Indigenous persons, enabling them to harness their talents and pursue their passions through fashion.
The UCOF Fall Fashion Festival serves as a dynamic platform to celebrate artists and designers from diverse cultural backgrounds. This event not only highlights their creative contributions but also promotes partnerships among participants, business organizations, government agencies, and community members. By fostering multiculturalism, intercultural engagement, and increased collaboration across New Brunswick and the Maritimes, the festival plays a pivotal role in strengthening community ties and enhancing cultural understanding.
Based on this year's theme for the Fall Fashion Festival, "Threads of Unity: Weaving Stories Through Stitches," the multicultural event will feature exquisite collections, captivating runway displays, cultural performances, and a celebration of diversity and community. Attendees can look forward to an array of activities designed to showcase the rich tapestry of cultures and stories that make up our community. Through this festival, UCOF aims to create a space where artistic expression and cultural heritage intertwine, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for the diverse backgrounds of all participants.
This year, in commemoration of our fourth year, we're stoked to expand the Festival to the bustling city of Halifax. We can't wait to see the magic the city has to offer!
