Welcome to the Uniquely Abled Academy Open House! 🎉 CNC Machining Training Program. This 10-week evening program held at San Bernardino Valley College, in their brand new Applied Technology building, prepares adults with autism to take on a manufacturing career through an innovative and focused job-training program, specializing in CNC machining. Students learn to program, set up, and operate CNC machines, combined with using quality control instruments, shop mathematics, and blueprint reading. Graduates will qualify for several entry-level positions, including machine trainee, machinist apprentice, CNC operator, and CNC programmer. Provided are the instruction, learning, and testing for students to achieve technical proficiency, as well as work readiness skills and job placement assistance.
