Help Union College with their day of community engagement Northside litter clean-up! On September 6 from 8-12, Union students will be doing clean up in the neighborhood. It is great to have neighbors participate-- you can do equipment hand out or go out with one of the student teams doing litter pickup--a fun way to introduce students to the Goose Hill/Northside neighborhood, get to know them, and give them information about area businesses and activities. The starting point is at the Union Public Safety Building on the corner of Van Vranken and Nott Street where students will meet to get equipment and form teams. There will be pre-set routes for teams to clean up, mostly in the streets near the campus. Two-hour clean up shifts will begin at 9am, 10am and 11am.
If you are interested in helping out or if you would like more information about this event, please email Joe Aragosa ([email protected]) or Margaret Novak ([email protected]).
Thanks! We hope to see some residents at this event as we get to know our Union College neighbors.
