Mia Figueroa was born with a rare condition called Heterotaxy Syndrome, where many organs in the chest and abdomen are formed abnormally, in the wrong position, missing or like in Mia's case doubled. February 5th 2024 Mia gained her wings after 5 beautiful years. She taught so many of us what it means to be strong as we watched her fight daily. 1 and 10,000 children are born with this condition and there is still so very little known about it. We invite you to come walk/run with us to help raise awareness and donate to the research that is very much needed for the children and their families still fighting. Mia was our medical unicorn so wear your bright colors and come help fight for these amazing warriors!
