❓ O DELAVNICI:

Vabimo vas na dvodnevno delavnico, ki bo raziskovala odnos med somatskim pristopom k gibanju in močjo evokativne geste. Pripravljamo ustvarjalno potovanje, v katerem bomo skozi študij Feldenkraisove® metode in instantne kompozicije pripravili telo na stanje povečane odprtosti in zaznavanja. Razvijali bomo orodja, ki nas prek radovednosti, poslušanja in odprtosti vodijo k razširitvi lastnih ustvarjalnih praks. Z njimi bomo izostrili telesno zavedanje, ki omogoča, da se telo izrazi v svojem polnem evokativnem potencialu. Vabimo vas, da sprejmete geste, ki izhajajo iz prostora poslušanja, in jih prepletete v koreografsko ustvarjanje v instantni kompoziciji, ki v ospredje postavlja poetičnost in politiko telesa. Zadnji dan bomo odprli vrata tega ustvarjalnega procesa ter ples preželi s preoblikovalno močjo okolja skozi oči gledalcev.
Feldenkrais® metoda je metoda samoizobraževanja in učenja, ki uporablja gibanje kot vir za gojenje zavedanja lastnih psihomotoričnih procesov. Skozi gibanje se učimo o sebi, razumemo delovanje telesa (biomehanika), odnos med različnimi deli, opazujemo svoje motorične navade in se odpremo možnosti, da jih spremenimo (nevroplastičnost). V prvemu delu se posvečamo ‘Awareness Through Movement’ sekcij, kjer bomo delili intimni prostor-čas raziskovanja, ko učenje postane organski proces.

🔹 PEDAGOGINJA

Priscilla Pizziol je plesalka, raziskovalka gibanja in ustvarjalka gledaliških predstav, ki temeljijo na jeziku plesa. Po diplomi na Akademiji za eksperimentalni ples v Salzburgu (SEAD) je sodelovala s priznanimi koreografi in režiserji, kot so Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Agostina D’Alessandro, Compagnia Oltrenotte in Compagnia Dejá Dónnè.Leta 2019 je ustvarila improvizirano solo predstavo “Vengo a perderti,” ki je prejela nagrado na SoloCoreographic Festivalu in bila predstavljena na več festivalih, kot so Solo Dance Festival v Ankari in MASH-Jerusalem International Dance Week. Priscilla je soustanovila kolektiv “Macula” in leta 2023 debitirala s predstavo “Amelia,” ki je prejela priznanje na Cortoindanza Festivalu. Trenutno dela na projektu “Melancholia,” ki je bil predstavljen na festivalih v Milanu in Parmi. Poleg avtorskega dela je Priscilla certificirana učiteljica Feldenkrais® metode in organizatorka “Landscapes for Composition” delavnic. UNFOLDING – Feldenkrais into Instant Composition workshop with Priscilla Pizziol

❓ ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

We invite you to a two-day workshop exploring the relationship between a somatic approach to movement and the power of evocative gesture. Join us on a creative journey where, through the study of the Feldenkrais® Method and instant composition, we will prepare the body to reach a heightened state of openness and awareness. We will develop tools that, through curiosity, listening, and receptivity, guide us to expand our creative practices. These tools will help us sharpen our bodily awareness, allowing the body to express its full evocative potential. We invite you to embrace gestures that emerge from this place of listening and weave them into choreographic creation through instant composition, placing the poetry and politics of the body at the forefront. On the final day, we will open the doors to this creative process, letting our dance be infused with the transformative power of the environment as seen through the eyes of the audience.
The Feldenkrais® Method is a method of self-education and learning that uses movement as a resource for cultivating an awareness of one's psychomotor processes. Through movement we learn about ourselves, understand the functioning of the body (biomechanics), the relationship between the different parts, observe our motor habits and open ourselves to the possibility of changing them (neuroplasticity). During the Awareness Through Movement class we will share an intimate space-time of research where learning becomes an organic process.

🔹 PEDAGOGUE
Priscilla Pizziol is a dancer, movement researcher, and creator of theatrical performances that utilize the language of dance. After graduating from the Salzburg Experimental Dance Academy (SEAD), she collaborated with several renowned choreographers and directors, including Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for Joe Wright's film, Agostina D'Alessandro, Compagnia Oltrenotte, and Compagnia Dejá Dónnè, serving as an interpreter for their artistic creations. Simultaneously, Priscilla began to develop personal projects. In 2019, she created "Vengo a perderti," an entirely improvised solo performance that received the "dance" award at the SoloCoreographic Festival - Lavanderia a Vapore. This debut work was featured in several festivals, including the Solo Dance Festival in Ankara, SHOWCASE at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, and MASH-Jerusalem International Dance Week.
Together with Edoardo Sgambato, Priscilla co-founded "Macula," an artistic research collective that debuted in 2023 with its first work, "Amelia." The project earned recognition for choreographic writing at the Cortoindanza Festival and has been showcased in numerous festivals with a site-specific version, including Conformazioni, Performare Festival, InCastro Festival, Rassegna Logos, and Caffeine. They are currently working on "Melancholia," an installation project presented as a work-in-progress at BASE-Centro Culturale in Milan as part of the Più che dance Festival and at the Ethnographic Museum of Parma during the Parma Moving Festival. In addition to her authorial work, Priscilla is a certified teacher-in-training for the Feldenkrais® method and the creator and organizer of "Landscapes for Composition" in collaboration with CorPoetica. This project, focused on the technique of instant composition, has involved artists such as Julyen Hamilton, Lily Kiara, Maya M. Carroll, and Agostina D'alessandro. Priscilla shares her transformative practices through explorations inspired by the Feldenkrais® method and Instant Composition, inviting the entire self to immerse in a perceptive-imaginative state where it can freely transform and manifest in all its expression and incisiveness.
