Our annual season finale event - Unexpected Epee - one touch epee event is on. The club opens at 6.30pm and bouting starts at 7pm and all ages welcome.This is also going to be the club's end of year presentations and social event. We'll get pizzas to share to make a party of it and announce the Spirit of the Club* award. After fencing and pizza, adults can move on to have a drink at a local pub
What is it? Everyone fencers each other to one hit. The winner gets one point. The victor is the fencer with the most points. Simple - and fun - and as we saw last year, it's 'unexpected' with the youngest fencers sometimes pushing the favourites for podium.
Even if you're not taking part, please come along, watch the action, celebrate the end of the year and see 2021 out the door.
