The UNE Acknowledgement Ceremony will be held at 11am on Monday 8 July on the Booloominbah Lawns, UNE campus in Armidale.Join with us to celebrate and watch the raising of the Aboriginal flag above Booloominbah and hear from the UNE Vice-Chancellor and CEO, Professor Chris Moran, PhD student Lynnette Marlow and a leading community member.
Following the ceremony guests are invited to a warm lunch at noon at the Oorala Aboriginal Centre.
The 2024 National NAIDOC theme is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.
This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.
